About RSIS
Purpose
- Collect/analyze data for railway safety management and store such data in database to prevent railway accidents and extend efficient support for railway safety policy by disseminating/distributing relevant information and knowledge via systematic management and comprehensive dissemination system
- Support efficient implementation of railway safety policies and assist with analysis of railway accident causes and development of countermeasures to prevent similar accidents
- Standardize/systematize a variety of data necessary for railway safety management to provide inputs for railway system risk analysis and safety improvement plans
- Integrate railway safety data to establish safety knowledge dissemination system and enable relevant organizations and citizens to access railway safety information with ease
