Conduct railway facility/rolling stock performance test and comprehensive trial run on new lines
- When tracks, electrical facilities or operational security systems are newly installed or improved, performance test is required in advance for commissioning so as to ensure absence of defect and rolling stock, when manufactured, assembled or imported, are also subject to performance test prior to deployment.
- In addition, when a new railway line is expected to be commissioned, comprehensive trial run involving all facility managers and railway operators is required to be conducted to check railway facility installation status and trainset operation system and get railway crews familiar with changes prior to commercial operation.
